PELVIC WELLNESS
Soften to Support // Did you know the pelvic floor and the jaw are intimately connected. And for this reason, working with releasing tension in and around the jaw can also impact tension in the pelvic floor. A gentle way to ease into working with this area of the body is to apply pressure with the middle and fourth finger tips to the edges of the jaw with a slightly opened mouth, moving in a circular direction with your fingers as you soften that area through massage. I love to elevate this practice by using my favorite face oil.
MOTHERHOOD
Organized Chaos // Like so many others, with the return of the school year comes the return of school drop offs, nightly dinners, sport practices, homework and more. My goal is to find patience in the chaos. For me that comes in planning things I can...like meals, fun projects with the kids or even upcoming movie nights. Click here for a calendar I love to help with all the planning.
PREGNANCY
Skin Support // A staple I always recommend. Gentle, hydrating, and perfect for stretching skin during pregnancy.
POSTPARTUM
Nursing Posture // If you're navigating the early days of postpartum life, you're not alone - and the way you hold your body while nursing matters more than you might think. I’ve got a few gentle tips that could make a big difference. Give them a try and tell me how they work for you.
PERIMENOPAUSE
The New Menopause // If you've been here a bit, you know that I turn to Dr. Mary Claire Haver for the most updated information about menopause. I really enjoyed this conversation she had with Brene Brown.
